Job Duties:

As a Legal Accountant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making. This position goes beyond routine accounting- your work will ensure compliance, deliver precise reporting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. From reconciliations and tax compliance to year-end processes, you'll be a trusted partner in driving efficiency and results.

  • Lead bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and verify balance sheet and income statement integrity.
  • Assist with strategic financial planning and provide insights to leadership.
  • Manage year-end close activities and related reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate across departments to support financial compliance and process improvements.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA optional).
  • Strong analytical skills and solid GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience with cash basis accounting; service industry background preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Orion experience is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Bonus:

  • Prior experience in service-based industries.
  • Tax compliance knowledge.
